If you would like to say anything else you can write it here:

We like learning letters (R)

We like multi-sports (R)

We like our play equipment (R)

We like playing with our friends (R)

We like all the activities in our classroom (R)

School Council can bring up our ideas at their meetings (Yr2)

We enjoy school but not the sanctions at playtime (Yr5)

Would like stronger sanctions and consequences (Yr5)

In discussions on the survey, the School Council made the following points:

Behaviour is good in the school

Learning is fun

They like playing with their friends

The teachers make lessons fun

Pupils feel confident and safe with their teachers

They like it that the gates are locked and the site is secure

They receive the support they need in lessons

They like the scaffolding provided by their teachers to help them succeed

They are helped to understand their work

Behaviour is usually good in the school …

But it can be a bit “dodgy”

There is some low-level bullying …

But it is dealt with by teachers and the Head

Some individual pupils can have a big, negative impact on others’ learning …

But this is rare (only two pupils were mentioned)

They learn better without disruption and like to be able to focus on their work and achieve their objectives
